Speech Language Pathologist- Autism & Social Skills Focus

Therapeutic Role: Autism Evaluation and Social Skills Training

We are looking for a passionate and energetic pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team to work with children from 18 months up to 12 years of age.  The SLP will be responsible for delivering family-centered care including evaluation services and the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.  The SLP will also be responsible for appropriate documentation and communication with the child’s interdisciplinary team.   The SLP will also provide clinical supervision for Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA). 

Qualified candidates will possess the following:  
Education:   MA/MS from accredited school of speech language pathology
License/Certification/Registration:  Required -- Valid Tennessee license in Speech Pathology

Required Experience:  Two (2) years of experience working exclusively with the pediatric population and children with autism spectrum disorder and behavioral challenges secondary to communication and social difficulties. Interest in autism evaluation, social skills and, an interdisciplinary approach to evaluation and treatment. 

Preferred Experience: Previous completion of ADOS™-2 clinical training and experience with ADOS-2 testing and working within an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary teams.
