Classroom Teaching Partners-Full and Part-time

Siskin Early Learning Center is accepting applications for full and part-time Teaching Partner positions.  

This position will perform duties as assigned by the Classroom Teacher in order to maintain classroom routine and assists with curriculum activities for each child. 

Candidate must possess a high school diploma, and have completed the CDA (Childcare Development Associate) certificate or the minimum of 12 college credits in early childhood education or early childhood special education.  Associates degree in early childhood education is preferred. Candidate must possess two (2) years of child care experience preferably in special education or early childhood. Excellent communication skills with children of all abilities and their parents and the ability to follow instructions and problem solve as part of a classroom team.  

All individuals who are offered a position are screened for illegal drugs and alcohol as part of the post-offer health screening. Individuals whose post-offer health screening results are verified positive for illegal drugs or alcohol and/or whose references and/or background checks are verified unsatisfactory, will be disqualified from employment, the job offer will be rescinded and he/she may be disqualified from applying for employment for one (1) year from the date of the post-offer health screening.
