CHATTANOOGA, TN – During their annual Philanthropy Week, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Sigma Nu fraternity spotlighted Siskin Children’s Institute, demonstrating the power of community and giving in support of children with special needs and their families.

Through a series of engaging give-back nights and fundraisers, the fraternity members rallied support from sororities, students, faculty, and the Chattanooga community. Their efforts culminated in a check presentation, where they proudly announced a record-breaking total donation of $1,717.64 to support the Institute’s vital programs.

“We are so proud to have chosen Siskin Children’s Institute as our partner this year,” said Sigma Nu Philanthropy Chairman, Braden Stillwell. “This organization makes such a profound difference in our community, and it was truly rewarding to see the generosity of everyone who participated in our events.”

Siskin Children’s Institute, a nonprofit organization with over 70 years of service, provides diagnostic services, therapy, and family support services for children with disabilities, including autism and ADHD. The funds raised by Sigma Nu will help support these vital programs, furthering the Institute’s goal to make an impact in the lives of local families.

Don Mueller, CEO of Siskin Children’s Institute, expressed gratitude for the fraternity’s efforts. “We are honored to have been chosen as Sigma Nu’s charity for Philanthropy Week. Their dedication and enthusiasm are inspiring, and their generosity will help us continue to provide exceptional care for the children we serve.”
